What I hope to learn:

Marketable technology skills

Educational strategies for students and teachers

 

Audience I wish to share it with:

Middle school students

Teachers and Administrators

 

Why:

These are necessary skills for the present and forseeable future in American and the world's schools.  We have a brand new school waiting for us to move into in March and I want to be prepared to make it an example of how good a school can be.  There are technology plans that include Web 2.0 but very few teachers are confident in its use.  Our students probably have vastly more exposure to it but may not have practical safe surfing skills.
